The City News is published on a periodic basis by the City of Delaware City to keep residents informed about their government. The City News also contains a listing of upcoming community events, however, for more complete information about community events visit the Main Street Delaware City website at delawarecitymainstreet.com. Each summer a special edition of the City News contains the annual Community Confidence Report (CCR), which is a detailed analysis of the quality of the City’s public water supply.

The City News also often contains important educational information about protecting the City’s water resources under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Program (NPDES) permit and about the City’s flood mitigation activities under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
