Delaware City Day Fireworks – Sunday, Oct 7th & Parking Restrictions

• Parking restrictions for Delaware City Fireworks will go into effect beginning at 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening. The following parking restrictions will take effect:
  • Beginning at 5:00 p.m., there will be no parking on Clinton Street from Second Street to the circle at Battery Park. Violators will be towed!
  • Beginning at 5:00 p.m. Washington Street at Front Street will be closed to vehicular traffic (except emergency vehicles) until one hour after the fireworks have ended.
• Shuttle Service for Delaware City Fireworks is as follows:
  • Parking for the Disabled will be in the parking lot adjacent to the Delaware City Fire Company. A shuttle for disabled individuals will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end one hour after the fireworks have ended.
• We would also like to remind residents that pets are not permitted on Clinton Street between Second Street and Battery Park beginning at 5:00 p.m.
