Main Street Delaware City Inc is again the “Neighborhood Champion” for Small Business Saturday, 24 November 2018.

Last year, Main Street Delaware City, Inc’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Arrival of Santa by Fire-boat was a BIG hit.  It delivered no less than 350 potential customers to the town’s historic district on Small Business Saturday.  We’re doing the same this year on November 24th at 6 PM along the Grand Promenade Cross Walk that leads from the Post Office to the Fort Delaware ticket office.  The row of Christmas Trees and the Gazebo become lighted for the season at this Ceremony.

6:10 PM  Parade of Decorated Boats on the Branch Channel and Parade Narration; Brass Ensemble provides Music

6:12 PM First Lighted Boats exit the Branch Channel and Parade in Bulkhead Shoals Channel with Fire Boat 15 as the last Boat in the Parade
