6th Annual River Towns Fall Festival (Saturday, 6 Oct) &

Delaware City Day Fireworks (Sunday, 7 Oct)

River Towns Fall Festival celebrates the heritage of Historic Delaware City & Historic New Castle as the two towns co-sponsor this single, one-day event, Saturday, October 6th.

This year, River Towns introduces an expanded Bike Ride component that allows cyclists to travel between Delaware City, New Castle and Wilmington Riverfront at the DuPont Nature Center!

The DuPont Nature Center along the Wilmington waterfront creates an exciting,new and expanded trail option for recreational riders. Although there will be the recreational bicycle ride, the timed “Race” component of the festival is removed.

The Fall Festival will feature children’s games and rides, live music as well as a craft beer event in Battery Park.

11 am to 5 pm Recreational Bike Ride (Starts at Clinton Street Circle)

Noon to 5 pm Children’s Fair with games and rides (DC Battery Park)

Noon to 5 pm Craft Beer Festival (DC Battery Park)

Noon to 5 pm (Vendors & Displays in DC Battery Park)

Noon to 5 pm Music in the Park (DC Battery Park)

Noon to 5 pm FREE! Shuttle between New Castle and Delaware City

Noon to 5 pm Co-event in On The Green in New Castle

No planned road closings in Delaware City.
